The Rugged Store walks you through one of the latest fully rugged handhelds to come to market. Panasonic has developed the FZ-T1 Toughbook to break into the enterprise, warehouse and other handheld oriented markets. Small but still fully rugged including a 5 foot drop rating, IP66 and IP68 ratings, the FZ-T1 was designed to meet MIL-STD-810G requirements. Weighing about half a pound, the Toughbook T1 doesn’t sacrifice portability for durability. The Panasonic T1 also is able to have either voice or voice and data support to function as a handheld 1D/2D barcode scanner as well as a phone. Running on Android 8.1, the FZ-T1 can utilize all expected Android apps as well as have Apps coded specifically for its use. As Panasonic continues to evolve its Toughbook line, The Rugged Store will be there to answer your questions and help familiarize you with the rugged tech industry.
