Hiking up mountains and down valleys; Splashing through streams hunting for trout; Sitting above the clouds waiting for sunrise; Burning sun and blisteringly cold high altitude winds, the Rocky Mountains were truly a tough environment. Taking hundreds of Toughbook photos in Rocky Mountain National Park was just one of the highlights of the trip. Judging from our physical condition, our CF-31 stood up to the rugged conditions a lot better than we did. Typing this out, I’m sure I will be hurting for at least a week…but it was so worth it. Achieving the summit of Longs Peak was definitely the high point (pun totally intended) of our trip at 14,259 ft.
The Toughbook took falls, splashes, heat, cold, and clouds (yes we were in the clouds, we figured that if it could take the river it could take the clouds) in a stride; The CF-31 even survived a vicious attack by a ferocious beast!!!…ok, ok it was a chipmunk eating a pine nut but all that matters is we got pics!
Back in the office typing up this blog on our veteran CF-31 I can’t help but look forward to our Panasonic Toughbook’s next photo shoot vacation destination. More soon!
