Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 Overview
The Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 is the latest iteration of Panasonic merging form with function. The CF-20 Toughbook is the very first fully rugged fully detachable laptop. The mobility of a Toughpad sometimes needs to be accompanied by the added convenience of a physical keyboard. Other Toughpads such as the FZ-G1 and FZ-M1 Toughpads could add optional accessories such as the iKey bluetooth or jumpseat keyboards. The CF-19 Toughbook had the ability to fully rotate the screen in order to be viewed in tablet convertible mode. The CF-20 Toughbook takes both of these ideas and merges them into one fully rugged package. The Toughbook 20 comes out of the box with a detachable emissive backlit keyboard. The CF-20 also has the ability to be used in a number of different modes including regular laptop mode, tablet mode, reversed screen mode and more. Docking strips are found on both the bottom of the tablet portion of the CF-20 as well as on the underside of the keyboard for seamless port replicating docking. With these integrated options, the CF-20 Toughbook can convert on the fly to any configuration that is needed.
